Facing Adversity 2

We have met twice now in the past month to dive into the issues revolving around facing adversity.  Every other Wednesday night a group of men meet to discuss obstacles we are facing in our lives.  It's more than just "support" though.  We have fun.  There is nothing like a group of men spending good times together.

I occasionally look around at a restaurant and notice groups of men having fun together.  Teen-agers after a game or practice, older men meeting for breakfast, fathers and sons, or guys laughing together at a bar.  There have been times that I have felt like an excluded onlooker, but more and more I am realizing I may be in some of those groups others watch.  It's a blessing for me.  A lifelong dream fulfilled.

Facing adversity in our lives

I hate this.  If we are honest with ourselves, aren't we all in the same mindset?  But swiching our mindset gives us opportunity to accelerate down the pathway of our journey.

A group of men have joined together to explore this area in life - in our own lives.  We'll explore together what it is we are facing, and where we want to end up.  Journeying together is a blast.  Men don't always recognize this powerful dynamic in life, but we're having a good time.

Welcome:  This is a blog for men.  Men on a journey.  We have initially begun to create a communication tool for members of a small group of men who have banded together to learn how to face adversity in our lives.

We share views, post inspirational quotes, argue, offer support, and ... whatever.
